He brought it home, made a cozy nest, and fed it until the bird was strong enough to fly again.
As days went by, the bird became Sam's friend. They would spend hours together, sharing stories and enjoying each other's company. But one day, Sam's friends invited him to join them on a trip to the nearby town fair. Excitedly, Sam agreed and left for the fair, forgetting all about his feathered friend.
Meanwhile, back at home, the bird waited and waited for Sam to return. But as the sun set and Sam didn't come back, the bird realized he had been abandoned. Feeling hurt and betrayed, the bird flew away, never to return.
When Sam returned home and found the bird gone, he felt a pang of regret. He realized he had been selfish and had hurt his friend's feelings by abandoning him. From that day on, Sam learned the importance of loyalty and never abandoned his friends again.
The moral of the story is: Always remember to be loyal and never forget the ones who care for you, for true friendship is precious and should be cherished.
